**Position Summary:**
As the Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in the successful launch and day-to-day operations of our new restaurant. You will assist the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of management, ensuring optimal performance and profitability. You will also be a key player in cultivating a positive and motivated team culture that aligns with our values and commitment to excellence.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Support the Store Manager in daily operations, including inventory management, scheduling, and staff supervision.
- Assist in the hiring, training, and development of new staff members to ensure high standards of service and teamwork.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both staff and customers.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure compliance with brand standards.
- Foster strong customer relationships by addressing feedback, managing customer inquiries, and resolving complaints effectively.
- Assist as needed in both front of house or back of house operations.
- Participate in promotional activities and community engagement to enhance brand visibility and loyalty.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house functions.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficient in using technology and software related to restaurant management.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
- Must have a Maricopa County Food Handlers Certificate, or willingness to obtain one with 2 weeks of hire date.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States, we use E-Verify.
