We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bustling kitchen. The ideal candidate will possess robust leadership skills, a passion for culinary excellence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Kitchen Manager, you will ensure that our kitchen operates in a smooth, efficient, and profitable manner.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Maintain inventory tracking, ordering, and receiving to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Monitor food safety and hygiene practices to guarantee compliance with local health regulations and standards.
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
- Manage scheduling and labor costs, ensuring operational coverage while adhering to budgetary constraints.
- Work cross-functionally with General Manager and front-of-house staff to enhance customer satisfaction and product delivery.
- Evaluate and improve kitchen processes and systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven work experience as a Kitchen Manager or in a similar role within a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Exceptional culinary skills and thorough knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States, employees are submitted through E-Verify.
**Education and Experience:**
- Prior pizza experience required, experience with Italian-American cuisine a plus.
- Certification in food safety management required.
